Online Counselling for Anxiety, Identity & Life Transitions
Sometimes from the outside everything looks fine.
You’re working. You’re managing. You’re showing up for people.
But inside you feel anxious, unsettled, overwhelmed or just not quite yourself anymore.

If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone.

I’m Michaela, a qualified counsellor based in Surrey, offering online counselling to adults across the UK. I work with people experiencing anxiety, identity changes, medical trauma and difficult life transitions.

You don’t have to wait until things fall apart to start therapy. Many people begin counselling because something feels heavy, confusing or persistent — and they’re tired of carrying it alone.

Anxiety Counselling & Emotional Support

A lot of the people I work with live with ongoing anxiety. It might look like overthinking, tightness in the chest, difficulty sleeping, or feeling constantly “on edge.”
As an anxiety counsellor, I offer a steady space to slow things down and explore what’s underneath the worry. Often anxiety isn’t just about stress — it connects to identity, safety, past experiences and self-trust.
We work gently and at your pace.

Who I Work With
I provide online therapy for adults across Surrey and the wider UK. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who are used to coping.

They may be:
-
Living with generalised anxiety or high-functioning stress
-
Adjusting to a health diagnosis or medical experience
-
Experiencing health anxiety or medical trauma
-
Questioning their identity after a life change
-
Feeling stuck in patterns they can see but can’t shift
You don’t need a formal diagnosis to begin counselling. If something feels difficult, that’s enough.
Online Counselling Across the UK
All sessions are delivered securely online, which means you can access counselling wherever you are in the UK.

Some clients are based locally in Dorking and Surrey. Others are elsewhere in the country and choose to work with me as their online therapist because they connect with how I work.

Online therapy can feel surprisingly natural once you settle into it.
